The SUNY Charter Schools Institute is responsible for evaluating proposals for new charter schools, and for the continuous monitoring of student academic performance, fiscal soundness, and overall school operations of 220+ SUNY Authorized charter schools. The Managing Director for Accountability leads the Accountability and Evaluation Teams.
