MCPSC is looking for a Senior Charter School Specialist that works closely with the Deputy Director, other Commission staff and Commissioners. The Senior Charter School Specialist will play a leading role within key agency workstreams, including new charter applications, intervention monitoring, including pre-opening for authorized schools, renewal oversight, and intervention monitoring and support. This position will also assist the Executive Director in executive closure processes as may be necessary. They will act as a liaison between the Commission and multiple internal offices in the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and will have a visible role with the Commission, including in public meetings.
