Director, Quality & Accountability, School District of Philadelphia Charter Schools Office

Roger Kligerman serves as Director of Quality and Accountability for the Charter Schools Office (CSO) of the School District of Philadelphia (SDP). In this role, he oversees the core authorizing functions, including the New Charter Application review process, Annual and Renewal evaluations, and amendment requests.

In his capacity as Director, he ensures consistency across evaluations and strives to strike the right balance between accountability and autonomy.

Prior to joining SDP in 2015, he worked as a data analyst for charter schools in Philadelphia; Washington, DC; New Jersey; and Rhode Island. Roger holds a Master’s degree in Urban Education Policy from Brown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and History from Oberlin College. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, cooking, and reading.
