Melissa Izzo

Instructional Designer

As a member of the Authorizer Learning and Development team, Melissa designs professional development and network-building opportunities for charter school authorizers, with a focus on promoting and strengthening best practices in the field.

Prior to joining NACSA, Melissa spent over a decade working in libraries and higher education, connecting people with information and enhancing student learning through course design and the integration of academic technologies.

She has a master’s degree in Learning Design and Technology from the University of Colorado, as well as an MLIS from the University of Denver. Her bachelor’s degree is from Rutgers University.
