Content Developer

Desiree Boardwine as NACSA’s content developer, creates and maintains relevant communications messaging and content that is critical to advancing NASCA’s mission and goals. Before joining NACSA, Desiree was a full-time English teacher at a public high school. She was a teacher leader in her district, advocating for the need for quality educational experiences for both students and staff. In addition, she was a part-time content developer for a local non-profit organization. Her work has helped to promote and design educational performance opportunities for children and adults.

She holds her Master’s in Educational Technology with a specialization in Instructional Design from Kent State University, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in Integrated Language Arts. Desiree is passionate about creativity, ingenuity, and learning. She believes that all students should have access to high-quality educational opportunities that will help them discover and pursue their own interests.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, writing music, spending time with her family and friends, and cuddling her lovable dog, Ozzy.
