NACSA Celebrates Guerschmide Saint-Ange as Pahara Fellow

Guerschmide Saint-Ange, NACSA’s Chief Operating and Talent Officer, was recently named as a Pahara Institute fellow. This highly selective cohort-based program, “identifies exceptional leaders in the educational excellence and equity movement, facilitates their dynamic growth, and strengthens their collective efforts to dramatically improve public education, especially those serving low-income children and communities.”

“We are extremely proud of Guerschmide for this honor,” said NACSA President and CEO Dr. Karega Rausch. “She is a proven leader on our team, bringing a collaborative and learning spirit to her work that I know she will also bring to Pahara.”

In her role as chief operations and talent officer, Saint-Ange works across the organization to operationalize and execute NACSA’s strategic vision and initiatives; strengthen internal systems and processes; and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within NACSA. She has dedicated her career to education. Prior to NACSA, she served as executive director of La Cima Charter School in Brooklyn, NY and has held several authorizing roles with New York City Department of Education.

“I’m honored to be joining an esteemed group of Pahara fellows,” said Saint-Ange. “This opportunity deepens my commitment to ensure all kids have access to a high-quality, inclusive, and affirming education.”

Saint-Ange joins Rausch and Veronica Brooks-Uy, Vice President of Policy and Institutional Change, who are alumni of the Pahara Fellowship.
