NACSA Statement on Supreme Court Decision on Charter Schools

Statement from NACSA President & CEO, M. Karega Rausch, Ph.D., on the Supreme Court of the United States decision in the case of St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School v. Gentner Drummond, Attorney General of Oklahoma:

“Today’s Supreme Court decision means that charter schools remain public schools that are a part of each state’s public education system. As we stated in our amicus brief —which was supported by authorizers, authorizer associations, and authorizing support groups across the country—charter schools serve a critical function in our public education landscape.”
