Director of Student Services and Professional Learning, Colorado Charter School Institute

Clare Vickland is the Director of Student Services and Professional Learning at the Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI). In this role she oversees professional development, resources, supports, and compliance for special populations in CSI charter schools. Additionally, she coordinates the onboarding process for new CSI schools and facilitates school leader professional development. Prior to CSI, Clare coordinated professional development supports, with a focus on special populations, at the Colorado League of Charter Schools. She also served as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, and instructional leader in Denver-area charter schools. Clare has her B.S. in special education and early childhood from Vanderbilt University and an M.Ed. in Risk and Prevention from Harvard University. Clare lives in Denver with her husband, Charlie, and their three children: Cale (7), Desmond (5), and Louise (3).
