Instructional Director, Prince George’s County Public Schools

Elizabeth Saunders serves as an Instructional Director for Charter Schools for Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland. She is the principal manager for thirteen charter school principals for the system’s twelve charter schools. She is also the Director of the Public Charter School Office. A large part of her role is planning, implementing, and facilitating the various aspects of the charter school authorization processes for new and existing charter schools. She has served in the school system as a First Grade Teacher, Assistant Principal and Elementary School Principal. On weekends, you will find her on a spin bike, practicing golf to improve, surfing the Internet to find information and reading (especially suspense fiction!)
