Jenn Thompson

Director of Consulting Services

Jenn is NACSA’s Director of Consulting Services. She supports the development and implementation of high-quality client services that extend NACSA’s impact on authorizing.

Jenn has worked in the charter sector for more than two decades, serving as a high school principal, a board governance trainer, a statewide authorizer, and a policy advisor. With a depth and breadth of experience and expertise, Jenn has a unique ability to help authorizers transition good ideas into sustainable practices that work within their specific contexts. She is committed to helping teams navigate the hard work of quality authorizing.

Jenn holds a master’s degree in K-12 Education Administration from Western Governor’s University and another in Literary Studies from Utah State University. She also maintains professional certifications in project and change management.

In her spare time, Jenn can be found volunteering in her community, spending time outdoors with her family, or fussing over her houseplants. Jenn enjoys cooking, live music and theater, and a good mystery novel.
