Senior Manager, Equity and Fidelity team, DC. Public Charter School Board

Rashida Young currently serves as Senior Manager of the Equity and Fidelity team for the D.C. Public Charter School Board. Rashida conducts oversight activities on a number of non-academic indicators of school quality including attendance, discipline, midyear withdrawal, compliance to health and safety, parent inquires, transcript audits, open enrollment, and Special Education.

Prior to joining D.C. Public Charter School Board, she taught U.S. History, AP U.S. History, and World Geography at a traditional public high school for ten years. She also served as chairperson of her Social Studies department.

Rashida attended Hampton University in Virginia where she earned her Bachelors in History and a Masters in Teaching.
