Director of Portfolio Operational Supports, Denver Public Schools

Sara currently serves as the Director of Portfolio Operational Supports for Denver Public Schools where her team supports 70+ autonomous schools in providing high-quality educational programming with a strong focus on equity and inclusion. Sara began her career in education as a Teach For America corps member in the Bronx and continued to teach and lead schools for over a decade. Prior to her position with DPS, Sara served as the Chief People and Program Officer at Rocky Mountain Prep, overseeing academics and talent for a high performing network of schools in Colorado. Sara holds a BA in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Arizona State University, a dual Master’s of Science in Childhood and Special Education from CUNY – Lehman College, a Master’s in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
