Orlando Castellon

Director for Board Governance, Central Michigan University

Orlando provides leadership to the Office of Board Governance, University Relations, and their Fields Operations teams. He also leads the Center’s professional development initiatives for board members through the Board Development Series.

Other programs that Orlando implements include the Center’s New Board Member Orientations, Annual Conference and Board President Roundtables. Having worked at the Center since 2003, Orlando began his work as a Contract Analyst and has assumed increased responsibilities over his career.

Prior to joining the Center in 2003, he worked with non-profit youth organizations in Columbus, Ohio during the pursuit of his master’s degree. He has previously worked in other departments at Central Michigan University, including Resident Life and Student Life.

Orlando holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.

He is the proud father of four sons.
