Brian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business from Virginia Tech where he studied Marketing and was a member of the largest student-run fixed income portfolio in the country. As a 2013 Teach for America corps member, he taught Middle School Humanities and helped create school-wide systems at an Indianapolis charter school. After leading his 6th and 7th-grade students to approximately one and a half years’ worth of growth in reading, he was recognized by his peers as Teacher of the Year. Brian previously served as the Assistant Director of Charter Schools – Finance, monitoring and evaluating the financial health of each Mayor-sponsored charter school.
